Product Designer
Location: EMEA (Preferable in Spain)
The Product Designer will play a key role in shaping the user experience and design foundation of mediasmart’s platform, helping advertisers and internal teams navigate complex programmatic workflows with clarity and efficiency.
This role will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable solutions across campaign management, audience segmentation, analytics, reporting, and optimization experiences.
A major focus of the role will be creating intuitive user experiences for data-heavy workflows while maintaining and evolving a robust design system that supports multiple products and development teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong UX thinking, visual design excellence, and systems thinking. They are comfortable working autonomously, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

SUMMARY & DUTIES
- Design complex features and workflows for mediasmart’s programmatic platform, including campaign management, audience segmentation, analytics, reporting, and optimization tools.
- Create intuitive experiences for data-rich interfaces such as dashboards, tables, filters, and advanced configuration workflows.
- Maintain and evolve the company’s design system and UI Kit in Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability across multiple products and engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Front-End Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, from discovery to implementation.
- Manage multiple design initiatives simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and business needs.
- Identify UX opportunities proactively and propose improvements that enhance usability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Produce wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and interaction specifications.
- Document design decisions, patterns, guidelines, and best practices to support long-term scalability.
- Provide detailed design handoff documentation and partner with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Contribute to establishing and strengthening design processes, standards, and culture across the organization.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles while balancing technical constraints and business objectives.
- Support product teams in translating complex requirements into clear, elegant, and effective user experiences.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role working on digital products.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, Auto Layout, design systems, and shared libraries.
- Experience designing complex web applications with dense information architecture and data-heavy workflows.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
- Demonstrated experience working in environments where design systems and design processes needed to be built or matured.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders independently with strong ownership and autonomy.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams in agile product organizations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Material UI or similar component-based design systems.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving organizations with high ownership and accountability.
- Intermediate\ Advanced English skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience within AdTech, Programmatic Advertising, MarTech, or B2B SaaS environments.
- Practical use of AI tools within the product design workflow.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, or customer interviews independently.
- Familiarity with analytics tools, experimentation frameworks, and data-informed design practices.
