Talent Acquisition Specialist

Propelus® simplifies workforce compliance management across healthcare. Our innovative technology and strategic partnerships empower millions of professionals, their employers, and regulators to work together, creating a connected and efficient healthcare ecosystem.

As a trusted leader for over 20 years, Propelus has focused on bringing more good into the lives of the people and organizations serving healthcare. We deliver seamless compliance solutions to millions. We leverage market-leading technology and essential data to simplify complex operations, reduce risk, and champion a safer, healthier, and happier workforce.

Propelus is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own our hiring engine. This is a recruiter-first role (approx. 80–90% focus) designed for someone who thrives on building teams, proactive sourcing, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You will manage a portfolio of active roles, serving as the primary bridge between our leadership team and top-tier talent.

In this role, you will build and maintain a scalable framework that can support growth through hiring with a mix of higher-volume roles and strategic headhunting. We are looking for someone who cares deeply about candidate experience and operational excellence. This is a perfect opportunity for a mid to senior-level candidate to help scale a growing organization, directly impacting our ability to attract, hire, and retain talented individuals.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus: 80–90%)

  • Full-Cycle Ownership:Manage end-to-end recruitment, from initial sourcing strategy to scheduling and communication to offer negotiation and closing.
  • Proactive Sourcing & Bench Building:Move beyond job board management. Proactively identify and engage passive candidates for "hard-to-fill" technical and non-technical roles to build a robust, evergreen talent bench. Engage external firms for niche roles when needed, taking the lead on these partnerships.
  • Strategic Partnering:Act as a consultant to hiring managers. Help define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and design interview rubrics that standardize hiring and reduce bias.
  • Candidate Experience:Serve as a Propelus values champion and brand ambassador, ensuring every candidate—whether active or passive—has a high-touch, professional, and transparent experience.
  • Systems Admin & Reporting:Own our hiring tech stack (Ashby). Ensure data integrity, report on pipeline health (e.g., time-to-fill, source quality), and optimize workflows for maximum efficiency.

People Operations & Employee Experience (Secondary Focus: 10–20%)

  • Employer Branding:Assist in leveling up our external presence (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Careers Page) to tell our company story.
  • Seamless Onboarding:Support and facilitate a world-class onboarding journey that transitions new hires from "signed offer" to "integrated team member."
  • Process Optimization:Identify bottlenecks in hiring and HR workflows and implement scalable solutions to make our team 10% more efficient.
  • Strategic Projects:May support broader People Ops initiatives aligned with business needs.
  • Data & Compliance:Support data accuracy and assist with routine People Ops operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • Experience:3+ years of experience in high-performing recruiting environments (corporate in-house or agency experience welcome).
  • Recruiting Prowess:Proven track record of managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.  Experience sourcing passive talent for Healthcare SaaS or similar complex environments is strongly preferred.
  • Tech Savvy:Advanced proficiency with modern ATS platforms (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse) and recruiting tools. Ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Communication:Exceptional interpersonal skills; you can "sell" the vision to candidates and provide candid, data-backed feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Operational Mindset:You don’t just follow a process; you look for ways to make it 10% better every time.
  • Discretion:Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive candidate and compensation data with high levels of confidentiality.
  • Education/Certification:Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Specialized Talent Acquisition or HR certifications are a plus.
